we have a silver star/bronze star/air medal vietnam hero that passed away Friday in Bradeton, FL. Father Ed Moretti passed away PLEASE get riders together...ASAP....he spent 50 years in the service of the Catholic Church....NOBODY, his congregation because it was a long time ago, would recognize that he was a Soldier also.....and some might not know/remember his service to this country, my wife's family has known him since 75. He was a GREAT man.

I have NO idea if the riders would be "understood" in this type of forum, but he was a true hero at the time when there weren't alot. He was honored by the Pope just recently before his death, so again though i'm a rider (2000 ultra classic) there could be people that don't understand what you all do.

I'm a Desert Storm vet 1990-1991 and Iraq freedom vet 2004-2005, Ft Ed was a great guy, again don't know if you all want to show up, but he was a true hero in Vietnam.

from his obituary....

"For his service in Vietnam, Msgr. Moretti was awarded a Silver Star for Gallantry in Action, a Bronze Star for Heroism with an Oak Leaf Cluster, a Soldier’s Medal for Heroism and an Air Medal for Heroism among other medals."
